It certainly is surprising that more people have not at least heard about Innovation. Not one person that I have ever played games with has heard of it. It has seemed to fly under the radar, but, I have also never once seen it for sale at any store or even large game stores, so that isn't helping its cause. Such a shame really - if only more people could see and try it. As mentioned before, every single person I've ever showed it to has really, really enjoyed it. Even those who said they don't like card games and were a challenge to convince to try it.
I think to some degree, it's a testament to how big gaming has gotten overall (and Gen Con alongside it). I'm hoping Ultimate (along with a new base game release) can bring it to a lot of folks who haven't seen it before.
