By popular demand: we've added THREE more Associate Producer Credit slots, and FIVE more Custom Art slots. But most importantly: the top-tier, Cameo Cat slot has been reduced to $10k!
Why? It turns out, there was a miscommunication between our team and Backerkit while the project was being built out, and, like on Kickstarter, there is a hard limit to maximum pledge amounts. It is literally impossible, due to restrictions put in place by the banking systems that process the payments, to pledge $20,000 to a crowdfund project! ANY crowdfund project.
Wow! We had no idea at the time, and probably STILL wouldn't if we hadn't been contacted by a potential backer who was having trouble backing at that level.
Backerkit did not catch this when they approved the project for launch; I believe they didn't know it was even a thing, from what they're telling us now. Oops.
The Cameo Cat pledge level was not priced out arbitrarily; $20,000 is a lot, and that's because so many hands have to be on-deck to get it done. Cameo Cats involve multiple people on the Lackacrew, a lot of hours of labor, and a significant investment of attention on the part of both Tracy and Fable. That's why it's so expensive! But even though we can't charge what we deemed fair anymore, we still want to make the opportunity available for the folks who have asked.
Therefore! We have reduced the Cameo Cat pledge level to $10,000 from $20,000, and reduced the number of spots for a Cameo Cat from 3 to 2.
So, if this was something you dreamed of snagging: Here's your chance! We suspect those two spots are gonna go FAST, so don't delay!
August 24th is the FINAL DAY of the Lackadaisy Backerkit campaign! Funding concludes at 10:00 PM, Pacific Daylight Time. And if I can be so bold, this has been the WILDEST ride of our crowdfunding LIVES. Thank you again for your overwhelming support and goodwill! We're so excited to get started on a better incarnation of Lackadaisy than we ever dared to dream was possible.

If so, how much will it cost? I'd like to know how much I should be setting aside for it. Also if we fall a little short of the goal, is there a chance the Blu Ray might end up happening anyway if enough money is made from things like ad revenue and merch sales?

So, we reached the first stretch goal. If we're lucky, we might get a few hundred thousand more dollars/dinero/etc.. before the end. If we don't, and they decide to hold another campaign in the future, anybody else hoping that the Blu-rays will be in a more reachable goal range if the Blu-rays will be apart of the next campaign?

Yesterday I have been copy pasting the Backerkit Link to all the Lachadaisy Reaction Videos in their comment section ! I received no likes since then but I hope some clinked it. You can't believe how many they were. There is almost a hundred of them. If only amm the viewers could donate. Thing is because the pilot was released 4 months ago so as the reaction videos some forgot Lackadaisy, except the youtubers. They should really extend the date to a week. We are almost there ! 😫

I know a lot of people really want those blu-rays (and I do too!), but think about all those cuddly plushies we can get if we smash that final goal. Come on, everyone! Let's do it for Mitzi, Serafine, Nico, Viktor, Wick, and especially Zib, who is going to have the worst hangover in the world, thanks to us. And possibly some Rocky related mishap involving heavy machinery. Do it for the plushies. Do It For Them.

Come on guys! For Blue-Ray of Lackadaisy we gotta get there before this fundraiser ends! Stretch those budgets, look between the walls and couch cushions, and other money-making things! WE WANT THE IMPOSSIBLE!!!
