Magnetic Press is a publisher of graphic novels, art books, and tabletop games curated with a focus on internationally recognized content and talent. Presented with premium quality production value, the Magnetic brand was founded by writer and video game veteran Mike Kennedy in 2013 as a label designed to showcase creators both new and established from around the world with an English-language audience often for the first time. Magnetic has earned over 20 Eisner Award nominations every year of eligibility since launching. Magnetic also won the Gold Medal of Excellence in the graphic novel category of the 2015 Independent Publisher Awards for Love: The Fox. Since 2020, Magnetic Press has launched and fulfilled over 20 successful campaigns on Kickstarter offering both deluxe edition graphic novels and art books as well as tabletop games and new media endeavors. Their freshman release of Carbon Grey: The RPG, based on the Image Comics series by Hoang Nguyen, ushered in their proprietary D6MV variant of the classic D6 Roleplaying Rules created by West End Games. Magnetic is preparing several more tabletop RPG products based on several popular properties for 2023 and beyond.

Sarah A. Macklin is a writer and artist from just outside of Columbia, South Carolina. She's the author of the novel The Royal Heretic, the novella Bride of the River God, and several fantasy short stories. She's the artist for the webcomic, Parenthood Activate and has created her own webcomic Villainous. Her first graphic novel, The Violent Vixens Ride Again, was released in June 2023. When she's not creating fantastic worlds, you'll find her experimenting with new recipes or at her sewing machine adding to her wardrobe.
